St. Michael’s Boys’ National School is a Roman Catholic primary school for boys, operating under the patronage of the Catholic Bishop of Ardagh & Clonmacnois.
Founded in 1826, the school has a long tradition of serving its community with dedication and faith.

Within this setting, each child’s individual academic, spiritual, and social talents are valued and nurtured. Our goal is for every pupil to leave St. Michael’s B.N.S. equipped with strong skills in reading, writing, and numeracy; a love of learning; a curiosity about the world around them; and most importantly, many happy memories.
